Week in the Life-Day 5 and 6

Ok, I know I missed a day here on the blog, but I did take the photos for the day. So here we go, Day 5 first.

So glad that it is Friday!! I am ready for the weekend.

 

Day 6

Yay it's Saturday!! I got to sleep in this morning, then we ate breakfast, went to do some shopping. I went to a baby shower and then home. The rest of the day was just spent with Tony, enjoying each others company. We watched Captain America and are now ready to go and see The Avengers.

Week in the Life-Day 4

Day 4-where has time gone this week?

Actually I am glad that tomorrow is Friday and it will be time for the weekend. Today was rather stressful and busy, to be honest, I only took 1 picture!

I am happy with just this picture. Life is not about taking 100's of photos every day. It is about living your life and recording it along the way. It is about working to live, not living to work.

After a long day at work I came home exhausted, both mentally and physically. Tony took me out to dinner at The Olive Garden. It was such a relaxing enjoyable evening.

Enjoy your life, make time for the things that are really important and let go of those that aren't.

Week in the Life-Day 3

Today was a very trying and stressful day. There have been so many changes in my job in the last 6 months, and most of them have not been good. I will not dwell on all of the stresses and changes. I will get to the best part of my day, the relaxing and enoyable part that comes after 5PM.

Talon comes to spend time with us one or two times a week and we love every minute of it.

Two more days of work this week and then it is the weekend. Truly I live for the evenings and weekends. Enjoy your evening!

Week in the Life-Day 2

It was a beautiful day here in Billings today!! I am such a spring and summer person. Just the sun and warm weather put me in a good mood.

Today, I have been thinking about what I want to do with the rest of my life. I have not come to any conclusions other than I do not want to get up and go to work everyday. I want to spend time with my grandkids, read more, enjoy my house more, spend more time with my husband and travel more. That being said, the depressing part is, those things will never happen. I will always have to work.

Today, I did not take as many pictures as I did yesterday and that is ok. Documenting my life is just that documenting life. It is not always the good things, it has to include the not so good and the bad. Afterall isn't that what life is all about?

Tomorrow is another day and I am hoping for a good one. Too much stress in life makes it no fun, so here's to a stress free day tomorrow.

 

Week in the Life-Day 1

I am participating in Week in the Life project this week. Ali Edwards always has such awesome ideas, but I just never seem to follow thru. I am determined to see it thru this week.

My Monday was a day off work and I spent it with my mom. Mom has been a member of the Nimble Thimble Quilters Club for almost 40 years! Every 2 years they put on a quilt show and this was the year for the show.

Mom and I tied 2 quilts to demonstrate how to do a blind tie and then there was also a group of women hand quilting a quilt. It was such a wonderful day.

I just love the passion for quilting that my mom and her friends share and build their relationships on.

Gratitude for the day:

The wonderful memories that I have from the time I spent with Mom sharing in her passion for her hobby!

Sharing my homemade sack lunch with Mom and just enjoying each others company.

Now it is time to be on to Day 2!!

I love this pickture of the vines in my backyard!! We had a beautiful autumn this year, sad to see it go. We got 3 inches of snow this weekend.

Autumn Walk

As I have been recuperating from my surgery I have not been able to do much. The one thing that I can do is go for walks. A couple of days ago, I decided to take my little Canon camera and go for a walk. I would have loved to take a walk down by the river, however, I had no way to get there so I just walked to the grocery store. It was a very nice day and the colors were beautiful.
